Hockley Lawn Tennis Club is a long established members club which aims to provide an enjoyable tennis facility available to junior and adult members of the community, where enjoyment of the game of tennis is enhanced through skilled coaching, recreational and competitive play in a social atmosphere of friendship, encouragement and mutual respect.

Established in 1921, Hockley Lawn Tennis Club has been located at its present site in Folly Lane, Hockley for over 70 years.

Currently, our memberships consists of well over 100 senior and around 100 junior playing members - not bad on three artificial grass courts!

There are a further 50 or so social members and the clubs coaching projects outreach into other local facilities and offer tennis to many more young tennis hopefuls in and around the Hockley and Rochford areas.

We, the members and associates of Hockley Lawn Tennis Club, pride ourselves on the presentation of this lovely little sporting venue and, whilst endeavoring to provide a professional yet very friendly approach to the game we love, extend a warm handshake to all new members and guests and also visitors to the hockleyltc.co.uk site.
