These notes cover all classes of membership to HLTC and their bona fide guests

Needless to say after a few sets of tennis, cooling refreshments are often sought to restore composure and where better than in the club house. As a private members club we have a range of alcoholic (and non alcoholic) beverages to specifically match the member’s preferences and we try to make sure the bar is open when members needs are greatest. The most popular time to sample our hospitality is on a Friday evenings as a good start to the weekend with a chance to meet other members and share a tale or two. But beware our newsletter; Folly News has been known to feature some of the more outrageous stories!!

Not only is it an opportunity to meet other members and put the world to rights but you can also find out what other social functions are planned for the members to enjoy.

All members and guests are welcome to join in the various functions that occur throughout the year, they range from quiz nights to cards, ballroom dance to discos, visits to shows etc. In addition to these ad–hoc functions there are the club tournament final days which includes BBQ’s or the like to finish off the day. Keep your eye on the social notice board for upcoming events.

As a member you have the scope to use the club house facilities for your own function, whether it’s a special birthday, an anniversary or suchlike. There is no cost for use of the club house which makes it a popular venue for such functions. Just contact the club captain or bar chairman to discuss dates and your needs and we can advise you what is involved in arranging such an event.
